When a chance encounter reunites a long lost daughter, Maggie Holloway (Donna Mills), and her stepmother, Nuala (Frances Hyland), both parties are thrilled at the prospect of catching up on years spent apart. However, joy turns to devastation when Nuala is found murdered only days before moving to a nearby retirement home. Yet as Nuala's lawyer seems unusually eager to sell her home, and the manager of the care home raises suspicions with his erratic behaviour, it becomes clear to Maggie that there may be more to her stepmother's death than meets the eye. And with the local sheriff also suspecting foul play, Maggie is left to unravel a hundred year old mystery. If she fails, the riddle seems destined to end with her own demise, unless, she can snare the killer first. - Actors:
