Retaining and Deleting Your Personal Data

Your personal data will be kept on our systems for the period of your subscription with us and for some period after your subscription is terminated. When your subscription is terminated either by us or you, your personal details will be retained on our systems as following:

  • Your payment details will be removed after 6 months of inactivity
  • Your personal details such as name, email address, password, IP address and other identifiable data will be removed after 3 years of inactivity providing that you settled any debt you may have incurred while using our service.
  • Any community paricipation you have made, such as writing reviews, rating films and TV series and any other participation will not be removed but disassociated from your account and associated with generic Cinema Paradiso customer.
  • We will also keep records of all postal addresses and credit or debit cards that were used to redeem special offers for a period of 3 years. However they will be dissociated from your personal details.

We may retain your personal data where such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person, for example in case of disputes over service or customer retaining the property belonging to the Company.

Should you wish to request deletion if your account details sooner, you can make a request by logging in and clicking option Request deletion of my personal details link. In this case, your personal details will be deleted 6 months after your service was terminated with us.

Security of personal data

We have implemented technology and security features, as well as strict internal guidelines, to safeguard the privacy of your personal information from unauthorised access or improper use.
