Undeterred, they continue - little knowing that the more repairs they make the stronger her spirit gets - until a terrifying encounter leaves Simon doubting whether he can protect his son from the evil that's making its way into their heads and hearts!

Suddenly caught in a clash between the supernatural and the human, Hellboy is now hell-bent on stopping Nimue without triggering the end of the world.
Lilies, an extravagantly mannered revenge fantasy, opens in a men's prison in Northern Quebec in 1952. A certain Bishop Bilodeau (Marcel Sabourin) is lured into hearing the confession of a dying prisoner, Simon Doucet (Aubert Pallascio), only to be held captive by the gay contingent of the prison and forced to watch their re-enactment of a play. This play, however, soon turns into the story of a lethal gay triangle set in a Catholic boy's school 40 years earlier, involving an 18-year-old Bilodeau (Matthew Ferguson), Simon (Jason Cadieux) and doomed third party Vallier (Danny Gilmore). As the prison walls melt away, the richly imagined land of Roberval reveals a shimmering tale of lost love between two young men.

When tragedy strikes, the grief-stricken father is driven by the cemetery's sinister power, setting off a perilous chain of events that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences. Nathanael West's novel about Hollywood decadence in the late '30s is a brilliant piece of filmmaking. A deeply insightful work that is powerful in its presentation, staggering in its vision. Director John Schlesinger is masterful in creating a world of platinum blondes, cockfights, glamour and broken dreams. And throughout, he plays on the edge of sexual and physical danger that finally erupts in the shocking climax.
While facing criminal charges, Pedro (Shico Menegat) must grapple with his sister's sudden decision to move away and leave him behind. Alone in the darkness of his bedroom, he dances covered in neon paint, while thousands of strangers watch him via webcam.
Marvel Studios' 'Captain Marvel' takes you on a spectacular adventure from the 1990's, tracing the path of Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) as she becomes one of the most powerful heroes in the universe. When the eponymous George Riley, never seen on-screen, discovers he's been diagnosed with a terminal illness, a circle of friends (played by such powerhouses as Sabine Azema, Andre Dussollier, and Hippolyte Girardot), rally and spur him to take part in a play (another Ayckbourn work: Relatively Speaking) with the hope of enriching his final months. Soon after, however, George regains his life-force with full verve, and reattracts the women in his group, threatening their own domestic stability.
Sir Charles Baskerville's sudden passing leaves the estate in the care of his nephew Sir Henry (Nikita Mihalkov). In light of suspicious circumstances surrounding his uncle's death, detectives Sherlock Holmes (Vasily Livonov) and Dr. Watson (Vitaly Solomin) are appointed to safeguard him. Holmes is exhorted by threatening letters to keep away, diverting the legendary detective. He follows leads in London while Watson accompanies Sir Henry to the Baskerville estate in Devonshire. Although tranquil in daytime, the countryside proves highly treacherous at night when the wind is drowned by the howling of an unseen beast. For both scholars and fans, the definitive Holmes is Vasily Livonov, who received an OBE for his portrayal of the Victorian sleuth in the much loved Russian TV-series that has remained a perennial cult favorite for its wit, style and period detail. Part of that same series, 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' is a faithful feature length adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan's Doyle's novel. In other words, it's grandly entertaining.
Having moved to Paris for university, Leevi returns to his native Finland for the summer to help his estranged father renovate the family lake house. Tareq, a recent asylum seeker from Syria, has been hired to help with the work, and when Leevi's father has to return to town on business, the two young men establish a connection in the heat of the Finnish summer. Viewing Finland from both the perspectives of an immigrant and an emigrant, the film casts the long-marginalised voices of sexual and ethnic minorities centre-stage in a story about the search for freedom, acceptance and a place to call home.
Widely misunderstood and shamefully denigrated at the time of its original release, but now recognised as not simply one of Rossellini's greatest films but as one of the key works of modern cinema, 'Journey to Italy' is a deceptively simple piece. There is little plot to speak of: a marriage is breaking up under the strains of a trip to Italy, and we watch. But in its deliberate rejection of many aspects of 'classic' Hollywood narrative and its stubborn pursuit of a quite different aesthetic, its meandering story line creates space for ideas and time for reflection.
