When Colonel Steve Austin (Lee Majors) barely survives the devastating crash of an experimental NASA aircraft, his shattered body is rebuilt using bionics - a secret new medical technology developed for the U.S. government by Dr. Rudy Wells. Outfitted with atomic-powered bionic legs, an arm, and an eye, Austin is now "better, stronger, faster" than he was before. Series 4 begins with Steve Austin's rematch with the legendary Bigfoot (Ted Cassidy), after which bionic woman Jaime Sommers (Lindsay Wagner) joins the fun to help stop a rogue group of alien visitors. Steve and Jaime continue their team-up to battle a deranged scientist (John Houseman] and his army of female robots. A bionic boy (Vincent Van Patten), a menacing Soviet space probe, a stint with the USAF Thunderbirds and a clash with a super-charged Dr. Rudy Wells (Martin E. Brooks) are just a few of the other challenges that Steve Austin faces this season.
