Amy (Anna Paquin) is reunited with her eccentric father Thomas (Jeff Daniels) after a nine year separation. One day, Amy discovers a nest of orphaned goose eggs which she decides to take care of until they And since geese imprint on whoever they see first, Amy becomes Mother Goose! But they have a problem - there is nobody to show the geese the way when they eventually migrate south in the fall. Or is there? With the help and support of Thomas' girlfriend (Dana Delany), father, daughter and geese become airborne adventurers, battling bad weather, air force officials and a host of other pitfalls on their journey.
