Having recovered from a shattering emotional breakdown, college professor Ben Marshall (Ed Stoppard) relocates to the countryside with his wife (Sophia Myles) and young son (Isaac Andrews), hoping for a fresh start.

Alex (Devon Sawa) has a premonition that a flight he's on, headed to France, will crash. He tells everyone to get off the ill-fated aircraft. Seven people including Alex, are forced to disembark. Moments later in the departure lounge the students see the plane explode before their very eyes.

At first the group is hopeful, especially when a pair of locals Lane (Wes Robinson) and Talia (Valorie Curry) offer to act as guides through the dark and winding woods. But as the endless night wears on, the group is visited by a menacing presence. Slowly, they begin to realise the terrifying legend is all too real and more sinister than they could have imagined.
