The near future; humanity has been all but destroyed by a mutated fungal disease that turns its victims into flesh-eating "hungries". At an army base in rural England, a group of immune children are being studied, subjected to cruel experiments by biologist Dr. Caldwell (Glenn Close).

The children attend school lessons daily, guarded by the ever watchful Sergeant Parks (Paddy Considine). But one little girl, Melanie (Sennia Nanua), stands out from the rest. She excels in the classroom, is inquisitive, imaginative and loves her favourite teacher Miss Justineau (Gemma Arterton). When the base falls, Melanie escapes along with Miss Justineau, Sergeant Parks and Dr. Caldwell. Against the backdrop of a blighted Britain, Melanie must discover what she is and ultimately decide both her own future and that of the human race.

Based on Peter Rock's novel 'My Abandonment', 'Leave No Trace' revolves around a teenage girl (Thomasin McKenzie) and her father (Ben Foster) who have lived undetected for years in Forest Park, a vast wood on the edge of Portland, Oregon.

A chance encounter leads to their discovery and removal from the park and into the charge of a social service agency. They try to adapt to their new surroundings until a sudden decision sets them on a perilous journey into the wilderness seeking complete independence and forcing them to confront their conflicting desire to be part of a community or a fierce need to live apart.

Dr. Genessier (Pierre Brasseur) is a brilliant and obsessive plastic surgeon driven by the need to restore his daughter's (Edith Scob) disfigured face. He is aided in this quest by his loyal assistant (Alida Valli) who lures unwitting young women to the secret surgery in his secluded chateau.
