Eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) has become the man of the house, overnight! Accidentally left behind when his family rushes off on a Christmas vacation, Kevin gets busy decorating the house for the holidays. But he's not decking the halls with tinsel and holly. Two bumbling burglars are trying to break in, and Kevin's rigging a bewildering battery of booby traps to welcome them!
This holiday season Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) vows his clan will enjoy 'the most fun-filled family Christmas ever'. Before you can sing 'Fa-la-la-la-lah', he decks the halls with howls of folly in there perennial favourite National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Seeing is believing. There are 25,000 lights on the roof. An exploding turkey on the dining room table. A SWAT team taking siege outside. A festive supporting cast (including Beverly D'Angelo, Randy Quaid, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Juliette Lewis, William Hickey and more). And a John Hughes script full of wit, heart and sheer goofiness. Yule love it!
In Walk the Line, Academy Award nominee Joaquin Phoenix powerfully portrays Johnny Cash, a young, passionate artist who rebelled against convention, revolutionised music, and always walked his own path regardless of the consequences. His troubled past, along with his outlaw persona, unbridled talent and passion for the woman he was destined to be with, led him on a path of self-destruction. Reese Witherspoon gives a Academy Award winning performance as June Carter, the greatest love of his life.
Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in this action-packed story of fighting men pitted against an unseen enemy, a force more powerful than their fiercest weapons. Recruited by the CIA to rescue hostages held by guerrilla fighters in a Central American country, Schwarzenegger and his men encounter an enemy unimaginably more deadly than any on Earth - because the Predator is not of the Earth.
A civilian oil-rig crew is recruited to conduct a search-and-rescue effort when a nuclear submarine mysteriously sinks. One diver (Ed Harris) soon finds himself on a spectacular odyssey over 25,000 feet below the ocean's surface, where he confronts a mysterious force that has the power to change the world or destroy it.
The Jedi Knights have been exterminated and the Empire rules the galaxy with an iron fist. A small group of Rebels have dared to fight back by stealing the secret plans to the Empire's mightiest weapon, the Death Star battle station. The Emperor's most trusted servant, Darth Vader (David Prowse), must find the plans, and locate the hidden Rebel base. Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), a captive Rebel leader, sends out a distress signal that is intercepted by a simple farm boy, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). Seizing his destiny, Luke takes up the challenge to rescue the princess and help the Rebellion overthrow the Empire, along with such unforgettable allies as the wise Obi-Wan Kenobi (Alec Guinness), the cocky Han Solo (Harrison Ford), the loyal Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), and the droids R2-D2 (Kenny Baker) and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels).

It's the summer of 1963, and 17 year old Frances "Baby" Houseman (Jennifer Grey) is about to learn some major lessons in life as well as a thing or two about dancing. On holiday in America's Catskill Mountains with her older sister and parents, "baby" shows little interest in the resort activities, and instead discovers her own entertainment when she stumbles upon the staff's quearters where an all-night dance party is in full swing. Mesmerised by the raunchy dance moves and the pounding rhythms, "baby" can't wait to be part of the scene, especially when she catches sight of sexy, heart-throb Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze) the resort dance instructor. "baby's" life is about to changhe forever as she is thrown in at the deep end as Johnny's leading lady both on-stage and off with breath-taking consequences.
Bette Midler portrays a rock star whose success is laced with so much booze, drugs and hard-living; it eventually causes her downfall. Trapped in a self-created hell, Rose begs her manager (Alan Bates) for time off from her concert tour. When he refuses, she seeks comfort and love in the arms of a handsome drifter (Frederic Forrest), but even he cannot handle her life of excess.
Ted "Theodore" Logan (Keanu Reeves) and Bill S. Preston Esquire (Alex Winter) won't graduate if they don't do well in their history presentation. This would be both bogus and uncool! A dude called Rufus from the future appears in the nick of time, providing a time-travelling phone booth, as their lives are important to the future of mankind! The two jump in and out of different eras, collecting historical figures (from Socrates to Billy the Kid), confronting them with West Coast culture and generally being excellent!
