Beautifully shot but very slow and disappointing. By the end I really felt it was dragging and overworked. Think Sciamma’s other film ‘Tomboy’ is a lot more interesting.

Interesting film. Elia is so expressive in a deadpan sort of way, that often creates quite amusing scenarios. Very reflective and sad as you sense his detachment and dilemma
