I've seen the first one which was ok and this is mostly the same thing but I think the idea of seeing through a laptop doesnt really add to great film.
I wouldn't say the best film I've seen but really powerful message and tribute these guys. It shows the dedication and friendship that develops between people working close together. The ending really does hit hard.
I found this film quite soothing at times and other times not so much (mainly the odd shakey camera action). This is a look at one of the most well known painters and it feels like an art house film. The concept is good but cant say it was a great film as a whole.
Wow. Where to begin. I know this film was a major flop at the cinema and amongst the critics, but I was tempted to see if it was all that bad. I went in open minded and realised within half hour that this film was truly terrible. The songs seem to blend into one with only memories standing out. The storyline (was there one?) is thin at best and the cgi and acting from all involved was terrible.
Pushed to think of a positive other than Tom Hooper is allowed a misstep.
The first series wasnt the most original idea but the writing was decent and it kept you guessing until the end which was it would go.
Much like Broadchurch, this was an unneeded follow up that limps to the final episode with a pointless twist. The Nest was a lot better.
I've found this show really drawn out. I know it's based on a true story but I think this story could of been told in 2 or 3 episodes. Mark Addy and Stephen Graham are wasted here and too much focus is on ransoms with the victim and the family given very little focus.
I did expect amazing things from a movie getting so much buzz. Is it any good? Well it's a bit different but I would say the tone is all over the place (likely the idea). I would say people should go watch it but I doubt most people will watch this film multiple times.
At 80 mins long this film passes by fairly quickly. That being said this is a real tv movie at best. The acting is average and the script is cheese. Wouldn't recommend.
This film was really bad. Acting and script felt very amateurish. If you want a better film go watch the original amityville horror or even the remake where this story is done within the first 5 mins.
I've seen a couple of the Rambo films. This one was quite passable. It goes a long at a decent pace and doesn't need your whole attention. Is it likely to win awards, probably not. However, it does what it sets out to do. Watch once sort of movie.
I remember seeing the trailer before it came out and thoughtthis film looks terrible. Then I saw good reviews and gave it the benefit of the doubt. Turns out my first suspicions were correct. This film just wasnt as good as it thinks it is. I didnt care for any of the characters and didnt rate the acting or script.
Nicholas Cage and Kelsey Grammar are both decent actors. Sadly in this film they put in a routine performance and it shows. The script is bad and nothing about this film grips or entertains. Very low budget film that I wouldn't waste your time with.
Not the best film ever but it keeps you engaged throughout. Some bits I had guessed but still some bits keep you guessing. Mckellen and Mirren are both great actors who keep this film together. Its definitely worth a watch.
The shining is a classic so this film had a lot to live up to. I like that it was a new take with only the last hour showing any close relation to the original. Ewan does a good job but of course no one will come close to Jack Nicholson. I was entertained although it could of been shortened a bit as did lapse a bit in the middle. Still watch it again.
I loved the 90s film and sequel of Adam's Family. I was looking forward to seeing what they could do with the animation. However this film was just flat. The animation looks dated and the voices are rather bland. Think I would rather just watch the 90s film instead.
