This film is fairly cheaply made and features no character development or interesting backstory.
The acting is OK but it really felt like I was watching something from Syfy channel.
Don't waste 85 mins on this.
At 2 and half hours long this could of been a long film to sit through.
Luckily this is a decent watch.
Will Smith and the 2 girls who plays Serena and Venus are spot on. You can feel the love and dedication from their dad to ensure they have a successful future not just in tennis.
The acting is great and the film goes along nicely without dragging.
The only downside is the lack of tennis scenes and the little focus on the rest of the family and how they dealt with the success of their 2 sisters.
I've never played the game so some bits won't resonate with me the same way it might for others.
That being said I enjoyed the original resident evil film (less said about the sequels that followed).
This to me is just fun disposable action horror movie with throw away characters.
One time watch
Bill Murray is decent in this film but have to say their is very little here to lift it above a watchable Sunday afternoon movie.
The acting is decent enough and nothing I would say is bad but it's not memorable or something I would watch again.
4/10
With so many superhero films out it takes something to stand out. I will praise this film for trying to be different but sadly the end result is a bit of a mess.
The acting is wooden and the storyline is rather bland.
The fact that it's been set up for a sequel will unlikely excite many people.
If you are looking for a cheap poorly acted horror film with bad cgi and a naft script then look no further. Give it a miss
I think as a kid in the 90s, Oasis were always the go to band. I remember loving the britpop scene and even now I will enjoy listening to this music (miles ahead of today's radio grime trash).
That being said this a different style of documentary and one fitting for a band like Oasis. It's a nostalgia filled documentary around the fans and preparing to go to Knebworth. It's easy to see how many were eager to get tickets.
I would say it would of been good to have a bit more insight from fans now looking back rather than just the voice overs at the time.
That being said its a good watch.
For an animated film this was a decent watch. There are some good jokes and the story has a good pace.
Only downside I found was that It went down a rather obvious route towards the end and the voice overs didn't really get out besides Olivia Coleman.
Overall a decent watch.
So the first film fell flat for me. I still feel the 90s films were miles better.
That being said this was a rather average watch but had a bit more of a story than the first film and some decent voice overs.
Worth a watch but doubt I would watch again.
This was an OK horror film but sadly the characters aren't as interesting and doesn't contain as much of the candyman as it should. The set pieces aren't scary or creepy as it thinks it is. The ending was all rather silly too.
That being said its hard to not compare the much better original film. So on its own merits is OK for one time watch.
A nice little film with a simple story. The characters are likeable but this is aimed at younger children. Overall its OK.
This may be low budget but everything from the directing to the acting is spot on. James Norton does a great job as a dying father only wanting to make sure his son is looked after when he's gone. This isn't at all soppy but feels very raw. Daniel Lamont is a great child actor too who acts just like a kid that age would.
Overall maybe wouldnt watch again but it's a well made film with heart.
The critics seem to slate this film but would say this is miles better than In The Heights (which critics seem to rave about).
For starters this works even without the musical aspect. The story kept my intention throughout and felt absorbed into the story and emotions of Evan Hansen. The songs however add an extra element to the emotion.
Acting is decent and would highly recommend.
I didn't expect much but was really impressed with this film. Its best not to spoil anything but this was a unique experience. Some of the script could be sharper but decent acting from Anna Taylor Joy and Thomasin Mckenzie keep this engrossing throughout. Creepy in places but essentially plays more as a mystery horror. 4/5
This is a fairly watchable effort. The story is simple and makes for an easy watch.
The thing that let's it down is that it simply ends without any real impact.
It's a decent enough film which may of needed a few more ideas thrown in.
