Great Sunday afternoon low key British comedy, good cast, predictable storyline but wonderful fun watch.
In our opinion, this is not entertainment or even thought provoking. Albeit sadly true in sure, it was tedious, I know like some people's lives but it was mind numbingly unwatchable.
Saw this on the back of Banshhes of Inusherin. But wish we hadn't bothered, characters were boring and story slow and not engaging. Gave up
Was recommended this and so glad we watched. Intriguing and compelling storyline with excellent characterisation and stunning scenery. Enjoyed and recommend
Really enjoyed this for its reality and touching feel, based on a true story. Highly recommend even if you are not a football fan.
Gentle film with some interesting historical background. Judi Dench always enjoyable and warmed to Eddie Izzard character.
Not our taste at all. Gave up after 20 mins. Dialogue lacking in intelligence and bizarre storyline.
Don't remember choosing this film but apparently I did but not sure why. Stopped it after half an hour, couldn't pick up thread at all and Richard Gere was not believable, couldn't understand story or what it was trying to tell.
Wonderful movie which we both loved. Uncomfortably true in places but characters were believable and all had great portrayals. Really really enjoyed it and sad when it was over.
