This is just a "Let's make money" film based on the original "Top Gun" film which was a good film. This one is just so cheesy and macho and absolute rubbish. A total rip off indeed! Insults the intelligence!

This is an entertaining film but spoiled by the dreadful over dubbing into 'American English', using words and phrases which I'm sure are not used by Russians. Even the technical discussions regarding the machine gun are spoiled by the fact that they are described in pounds, feet, inches etc. completely ignoring the fact that the Russians were using the metric system since 1919 and indeed never used pounds, oz, etc. even before that. This is a serious film made laughable by the stupid dubbing. Why don't the Americans realize that the rest of the world don't use their slang, and especially the Russians in the 1940's!Dazzler Media.

Really spoils the film!

Yet another meaningless movie pandering to the half baked ideas that some producers and directors think we want to see. Why do great film actors like Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett lower themselves to take part in such brainless rubbish. Money? Or do they think that it will enhance their reputation. Well, I can tell you right now that this film is just disjointed scenes of total boring pseudo soft porn bilge. Do not wast your time bothering to watch it!!!!!!

Ps. Where on earth does Ben Kingsley figure in this film? I must have blinked!

Almost unwatchable and just too silly for words! Do actors of the calibre of Tom Hardy and Reese Witherspoon need money sooooo much that they agree to act in such poor quality films? It wasn't even funny in the slightest and I must admit to switching it off before half way through. Who knows, the last bit may have been outstanding ................ but I doubt it. Quite frankly this type of film is not entertaining and is an insult to the intelligence. 0 out of 10!!!!! Don't waste your time on it!

Actually I could only watch the first 15 minutes. The acting, story and scenery is just appalling and amateurish. I have seen better acting in the local church hall pantomime. Do not wast your time with this film!
