I found it very hard to get to the end.

I found it hard to enjoy this film. The main character was a flawed individual whom I found hard to like. It was well acted & you could believe in the characters but I just found the whole thing depressing in the extreme. There was no glimmer of hope or prospect of resolution & the end confirmed this.
