The film was like a home movie shot with shaky camera. Cliched romantic couple shots, ridiculous CGI spaceship and a tin foil covered cereal box jet pack... you get the idea.

The main character was lacking any charisma and annoyingly stupid. The dog was definitely the better actor.

We watched the whole film because we couldn't believe how bad it was.

I have never seen such a poor film so unless you are dying to see how bad it actually is I wouldn't recommend it!

We were expecting great things of such a good actress but the film went nowhere and then it finished. A particularly boring day at the office with lots of photocopying and dull phone conversations... The critics loved it - a case of The Emperor's New Clothes maybe?

I bought this on the basis of its reviews and was not disappointed.

I was expecting the overused 'grumpy old man learns to be happy again' but it was so much more than that.

The story unfolded during the film and it was sad without being too schmaltzy.

The reactions between the characters, in particular Ove and his new Iranian women neighbour, were brilliant and the subtle humour was great.

The film was a clever character study; sad, funny and ultimately a real 'feel good' movie.

After watching, or should I say enduring the film, I found that all the glowing reviews were from arty film critics.

Audience reviews are usually at odds with them.

For me I found it slow, over-long, boring, pointless and pretentious.

The best part was when it ended!
