Before Renee went mad wth surgery. Was perfect look for 30's.....not sure about now, have to wait until tissue settles a bit.
Good style film loosely based on something or other.....aren't they all now? Rolls along quite comfortably and enjoyably enough.
Napoleon is a bit more muscular and smoother, and Ilya has gone steroids compared to the old TV series. Little bit of Bond, little bit Mission Impossible, so very much like the old series, which is no bad thing.
Also a bit Sherlock Holmes, which is no surprise as Guy Ritchie at the helm.
Does he know how to make films or what? From layer cake to uncle in great hops via all good films...........should have masses of funds raised in UK for us to make the profits, but bet proceeds mainly going to US. Folks too windy to support films in UK, more is the pity..............
Carey can be a pain when just does the over-zany Jerry Lewis style thing. Fortunately is latest films have been a little more normal-person. This film in the watershed area between.
Early one for Renee as well.
A few leans towards the Steve Martin film the Jerk with the mixed race/family idea..........
Kids will love it. Not quite as funny as Happy feet or Madagascar, or as colourful as Rio's, bit predictable but good fun for the kids.
Kids still love it, even today. Simple and a bit quaint, but little ones enjoy it for what it is. Maybe a bit sharper than the first one..............
One of the almost-Watergate films trying to validate a lot of lurid journalism. Based loosely around circumstantial happenings to a journalist.
Vigilante meets Death Sentence meets Transporter. If you into bish bosh bash, will like this one.
Is quite well done.
Bit like Roadrunner as well. One man can take 12. Even Statham wasn't that ambitious. Quite ludicrous as they always shoot crooked, and come one at a time, two at a push.
No Country for Old Men has, in fact, way less fatalities, but is way more up-front.
The degree of Superman is quite over the top, but is quite good fun, in a guns and violence way.
Almost become the norm for half the new films now to be gun orientated. Makes you see why US loves guns. If many more Paris style attacks in the street take place, perhaps the entertainment value may wane?
Obviously an old and slow film, but Anthony always worth watching. Remains of the day has a similar feel to it, but a lot tighter film.
Basically a bit like the old Short Circuit films, but with the whizz graphics that gives it the big upgrade.
Nice to see something a little different, with a budget, and some new faces, although a couple may ring bells. Bren Gleeson's lad up the front........
Lot of work for someone to do on their own in middle of nowhere!
Kevin Bacon on the wild with guns, again. Bent cops, scruffy folks in scruffy cars. Probably get the idea, again. Probably based on fact, which is disturbing.
Is a wonder how they ever got a man into space!
Watched about 20 mins and couldnt be bothered. One of these up-itself films with a miserable guy wandering around all fed up.
Tried to do a Guy Ritchie type funny-violent film, but misses by a fair margin. Lock Stock so much better is not funny............
Not one of Al's best. Dreary bloke doing dreary stuff. Kitchen sink meets big brother. If the main man decided to have a wash and shave may help.
If followed the series then will love the film. As a feature film, it perhaps does not feature. I slike a long TV episode.
