Since Ghandi Ben has done many strong characters, and here is another. Sexy Beast must rate as number one for sure. Supposed to have his persona in Bryan, but Bryan is too nice to be Ben, if get my drift, but rolls along quite well.
One of those cult films, like Baghdad Cafe. Sort of quirky, with a main man playing character role.
Terence done a lot of films since the Collector, and is always watchable. Plus can hear what he is saying. No lines thrown away with TS
Still say terminator 2 probably the best of the bunch. Matrix had a set run, but Terminator can be re-done. All good fun i guess, but is much like a lot of modern sci-fi. Lots of noise and colour. Entertaining on big screen and projector but not one to keep.
Non-stop whizz whizz. Chase that is flat out through the whole film. Must have taken a lot of work to put so much together. Deserves a 4 for e4ort. Pace never slackens. Is like fastest bits of Transporter or Bourne.....but seamless all the way through!
My wife liked the film. Is the normal scenario of lady finds guy is married, clans up with wife etc. Lots of squeeky american voices.
Vince is a verbal machine gun. You like him or you do not. Storyline is stronger than most, and Tom Wilkinson....he of Exotic Marigold......lends some extra class input. Little bit Hangover style but quite funny. Male genitalia now becoming common in films, and a fair display at one point in film, in case offended! Makes Step Brothers drum-kit attack look fairly tame..........Nick Frost still not losing weight..........
Didnt spot was International! Presumed John would be in english speaking film. Wrong. probably a good film, but do not expect it to be made in the mother tongue...........
All good fun. Competent group of people, and a bit different storyline for a change. Spot the Phil, Bette's hubby..........gay detective from beverley hills cop
Critics gone against this film, bit like Costner's Waterworld, which has now just broken even! Agree the story-line is a bit of a zig zag, but is still quite a good film to watch. Bit like AI etc...not as good as that......but still holds attention and is a bit different. Kids can watch it as well as adults...........
Bit of a tribute to Paul Walker. Ironic he actually died in a car wreck. If like the previous offerings will like this one. The parts cleverly filled in where Paul is on are quite hard to spot. Specials did well.
If just read the "new" Sherlock Holmes book, will wonder at the turn around, as now Holmes has outlived everyone else!! Probably written to give Ian a job? Bit cynical in old age.
Is well done English film. Ian does his thing extremely well. Is hard to fault really.
Fiennes does the acting thing, again, very well. Not sure how factually based the film is, but is pretty credible. Like the Holmes film, is part BBC supported, so their attention to detail and period shines through.............still object to paying more than my car tax to BBC each year as a form of enforced taxation. Never watch any BBC, so why should over half the populace pay for the other half??
Bette has power for sure. Great stage prescence, and can spot Joplin from almost first 10 minutes.
Quite an old film now but still pretty good stuff, and Bette can do the biz.
If you liked the first one you will almost like this one......but not quite. Banal America at its worst. Effing and blinding fairly up to the mark though.............
One of the fulfil the contract jobs. Why does Robert bother? His agent will tell you.
Is OK if like a guns and guns thing, and like the main men, even if they well under speed.
