This is obviously a well researched and put together testing disk for your 4k Hdr system.
However, saying it is for beginners or professionals is somewhat an exaggeration.
The disk comes without instruction or help built in so if you know what to do and I would suggest most beginners dont then the disk on its own is not much use.
Its not just a question of adjusting brightness, contrast and colour to see the best on your screen.
Colour filters are required in some sections and of course all of us beginners have those dont we.
However, if you go on the internet you will find help and assistance of how to use it on the Spears & Munsil website.
But as these instructions then tell you be careful what you change.
How much better it would have been to include some verbal assistance on the disk on what to look for on or before each screen each screen offering.
Nice offering but spare a thought next time for actual beginners otherwise how will we ever become professionals in the future.
A short review of this Blu Ray version would be that Joe is excellent as usual playing brilliant guitar and accompanied by his excellent blues vocals. However, the video fails to meet that expected of a Blu Ray performance often it is out of focus and resorts to presumably audience generated video. Given the small size of the venue its probably the best they could do. But never the less I did enjoy it as the audio makes up for the poor video.
