I wanted to 4/5 stars, but the five interlocking stories are a little too slow moving and looses too much traction; so I gave it 3. It begins well but sadly doesn't keep the pace. The threads between each story are there but are tenuous; perhaps too much was cut out of the screenplay? It has entertainment but lacks soul. Part of me wants to re-watch it to find what I missed, but I don't care about the story or characters enough.

After 40 minutes I realised I had no idea what was happening and had no interest to find out. It was a miss for me and I turned off.

This is basically six episodes of Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon having dinner with each other in Greece. 95% of the episodes have nothing to do with either Greece or the food they are eating. 5% is vaguely relevant to their experience in Greece and is a few moments looking at a historical ruin with a rapid description of the scene given whilst impersonating other people. I was expecting this to be a comedy travel experience of two funny guys exploring Greece, Greek culture and cuisine. The comedic stories have either no relevance to the surroundings or are so lost in comedic impersonation and banter that the reason they bothered travelling to Greece was a mystery - it could have been filmed on a sound-stage or a greasy spoon cafe on the A1. My honest opinion was that the comedic value of these two men having dinner together wore off very quickly and I was left feeling mislead by the title.
