Sometimes less is so much more. This version was weirdly heavy on CGI it didn't need, and the dialogue sounded like the writer had never even talked to a middle school student in their life. Their overuse of jump scares made it tedious and not at all scary. I like Bill Skarsgard as an actor, but Pennywise will ALWAYS be Tim Curry.
