Good story with pace and realistic portrayal of ordinary people swept up into extraordinary things.

The period setting is excellent. Marvellous portrayal by Mereb Ninidz of the conflicts between patriotism and world peace. The enormity of the nuclear threat is very well covered as we experienced it in the 60s.

Mercifully free of woke virtue signalling that we can expect in more recent movies. 

Really good comedy, fairly acid in parts but redeemed by Warwick’s comedic timing and humanity.

I didn’t see this series when it was broadcast as I have a love-hate relationship with Ricky G.

I just think this will be Ricky showing everyone how clever he is again and it is but he’s really good at it.

Worth watching.  

My friend went through this in real life and he was very impressed with the accuracy of the treatment.

Good story, well told, avoiding usual cliches. Powerful drama giving a more layered picture of the South Africa that existed pre 1994.

If you can put aside that this is faction rather than factual or fiction it works quite well. Sumptuously shot with great acting. I liked the leisurely pace of the story and I will look forward to the next discs.

The opening three episodes captured the essence of the role of power in the monarchical system and that will be difficult for some people to accept. If you want to watch something about people being nice to each other don’t watch stuff about Kings and Queens.  

Best level of acting in any of the series. 

Great special effects.

My favourite line in the film is from Albert Finney  the gamekeeper, Mr. Kincade, at the Bond Family's Skyfall estate in the scenic highlands of Scotland:
