Documentary investigating the director (Sarah Polley)'s own family history, narrated by various family members. This is fascinating, thought provoking and fun to watch.

Manchester by the Sea
Well acted and devastatingly sad

The acting in this compelling film (particularly Casey Affleck, but all the supporting characters too) is exceptional. It is quite long, but I felt completely immersed in the story of Lee Chandler, and his enforced return to his hometown after his brother’s death.
