What a superb film. We enjoyed this very much. No sex, no violence and a great story well told. The boy's relationship with the Pelican, Mr. Percival, is moving at times too.
This is a great feature length documentary film with enough technical details to keep it interesting. The last time I saw the moon landing in such detail was when I got up at the crack of dawn (or earlier) fifty years ago. But this time I didn't have to go to work afterwards!
This film started well and intriguing but became very strange as it progressed. Still not sure what happened at the end but it was entertaining enough. Acting throughout was very good by everyone involved.
I rated this film Incredible. It was entertaining from start to finish and the performances of all the main stars was unbelievably good. I was always a fan of Queen when I was a lad and their music was of a kind not heard from other rock groups at the time. Much of it was almost classical in nature. An amazing production.
I found this film extremely interesting and well acted as we have come to expect of Judi Dench. Abdul's lack of experience in Royal protocol was very well shown and very amusing at times. It was interesting to see once again the interiors of Osborne which I had filmed myself for a documentary about Victoria a couple of years ago. An excellent film and just the right length to tell the story.
I enjoyed this film very much. Of course we all knew the outcome of the story but it was told in a well thought out manner, concentrating on the actual raid and the preparations associated with it. The incredible period of work over the Easter weekend was told with just the right amount of tension to make the story exciting.
