Great to have this 80s horror finally released and remasterd. The follow up to the more well known Re-Animator from the same director, but very much on the same HP Lovecraft / gory / schlocky tip which will appeal on the same level and is arguabky even better. Very entertaining from the heyday of 80s horror!

Yes he went on to direct the amazing Dogtooth, the ok Lobster, the creepy and brilliant Killing of a Sacred Deer and then win a bleedin' oscar with The Favourite, but this is aimless dross. Hardly any dialogue, no discernible plot, I tuned it off half way through.
