This film was an interesting view of athletes competing in the Olympics 100 years ago. It shows the rigorous training & dedication that is required.
It was well-acted but in black & white, and the sound was muffled which spoiled our enjoyment slightly.
This film is a documentary which I don't think was obvious from the description and is of very poor quality. It focuses largely on her personal life and the views of her biographerand others which were often critical and dispassionate - one person called her a psychopath, another a masochist!
Added to which the sound quality is very poor and the subtitles difficult to read.
It was good to see glimpses of her performing but I struggled to watch it.
The film focuses on the latter part of Judy's life and her use of drugs and inner turmoil.
It was mostly very sad and I had expected more of a biopic of her whole life, and not just a focus
on her acting career and tours.
Renee Zellwegger gave an excellent performance but I found the film depressing.
After a slow start during the first half the pace quickens and tension mounts culminating in a surprising ending.
Based on a true story it puts a spotlight on the machinations and corrupt behaviour of the US and UK governments prior to the Iraq war.
I thought it was acted well - Keira Knightley was believable as Katherine Gunn, and the supporting cast were also excellent.
I hadn't known about this case before watching the film and so for me it was highly illuminating.
I highly recommend that everyone see this film.
I really enjoyed this film which held my attention from beginning to end.
A great portrayal of an amazing achievement by Captain Phillips.
This film was pornographic and focused largely on the main female character's sexual exploits or lack of,
I switched off after 30 minutes I am shocked that an actress of Meg Ryan's calibre agreed to do this film
I enjoyed this film.
I thought it was acted well and I believed in the characters.
Because It based on fact & real experiences I found it really interesting.
This film was very disappointing. On the face of it there is a storyline, showing the difficulties faced by a single woman traversing
the West, and how women suffering mental distress were treated (taken to a parsonage and away from their families} but
the plot wore thin when the heroine died, and the cowboy showed himself to be superficial and feckless.
I felt that I had wasted two hours watching this.
