This film is amazing , travelling on the canal routes on a long boat.
Two well- known British actors who have been married 50 years share their passion with us , barging . A journey down the canal routes of Britain showing the waterways , locks and the places of interest on the way. To watch this is an absolute joy traveling up and down without leaving your armchair.
It is very comforting to watch when there is so much aggression in the world elsewhere. Prunella Scales and Timothy West are endearing to watch and they are very informative about barging and barging novices want to take it up they should watch all of the Great Canals Journeys for inspiration.
