The clue is in the DVD title. This is a very bloodthirsty film so not one for the squeamish. Costumes and atmosphere are great and acting is good.

I found this film rather slow to start but the action did pick up later. The main roles were well acted but still something was missing. The film did not keep my attention as much as I had expected it to.

The Handmaiden

This is a great film, brilliantly shot and featuring wonderful scenery and a story with a surprise twist near the end. The sex scenes were tastefully done.
