OK so I should have expected this film to be uninspiring; but it didn't need to be. I remember back in the day when the first Terminator films came out, they were amazing effects movies; pushing the boundaries between mere mechanical reproduction and simulation. And the story wasn't bad either. But unfortunately as the franchise continues to make films they are neither inspiring technically or narratively competent.

A well made film with some fantastic chase and fight scenes. It doesn't take itself too seriously and is therefore a great piece of all round entertainment. The cast are excellent and include a number of well known actors. I missed this at the cinema, which in hindsight was ashame. It is the type of film I would watch again and again.
