Why on earth in this day and age does a 2019 film have no subtitles for the hard of hearing. We tried to watch it but the main character's diction was poor so we had to give up after about 20 minutes.
Why in this day and age do they produce films with no subtitles for the hard of hearing. Ordered this film without realising it. Both of us need subtitles so we are completely left out of the enjoyment and become 2nd class citizens
Being an older couple we didnt enjoy this film as there were no sub-titles available for the hard of hearing. For a 2016 film this is inexcusable and a total discrimination. Even with the sound up we found the diction poor. Cinema Paradiso shouldnt accept this in this day and age. They should tell us if subtitles are not available then we can make the choice to rent or not.
It didnt say this was a French Language film that I could see. Tried to watch it but you get so busy reading the translation that you miis the real point of the film and lose track
Perhaps this is American Humour but I can't understand it. Very schoolboyish. Using filthy language isnt that pretty and trying to get laughs that way is not funny to me. I'm really surprised Robert de Niro lent himself to this character. Very childish and basic and a pretty ridiculous plot
A wonderful example of human positivity and a glass full view on life by Neil Baldwin. A charming film and a lesson on how to go through life thinking nothing but good of people. Neil's outlook on life brings out the best in everyone he meets.
