Had the feel of a tv movie. Very underwhelmed by it. If you are looking for a high quality authentic war movie look elsewhere. Cancelled part two of this film! And yes I know it’s meant to be more than that, but sadly it isn’t. Although saving private ryan storyline is a bit flaky the action sequences are credible, realistic and truly shocking in their delivery. Not here. Having seen the best war film ever ‘Come and See’ this pales by comparison…

Dull and predictable tale from 90's Russia. Spend 90 minutes watching that countries better films of which there are many. However if depressing shots of St Petersburg and a thin story is your bag then enjoy!
