We left it playing far too long, only because of who was in it.
Maybe we’re just getting on in years and don’t get it , imho this flick, from the bits we sat through, is baffling nonsense, that’s me being kind.
Ok it’s from the 70’s, but it’s still a good show.
I seen it at the Drive In in Australia as a kid !, yep changed days, anyway still quite disturbing in good old 70’s style.
We had no idea what this film was about when we
fired up the projector, apart from a bizarre bit near the middle of the film( it gets a bit fruity) that would kind of refrain me from recommending it to friends or colleagues ( yep), it was a right good show. We had no idea where it was going and it still pops into my mind now and again, well worth a detour from a Hollywood film.
That’s not to say we don’t love Hollywood films , we love em.
I’ve sat through many a film, this one was right up there. It’s not one you would watch over and over, but while it was on they had me 100%. Really.
It’s by no means a bad film ! But it isn’t a 15 !!!
It’s a good old scary kids film, so don’t rent it expecting to see Tom C at his best. Sure there is plenty of C G stuff, that’s normal these days, but it is a kiddies scary film.
It’s a good story , interesting if you like SiFi kinda thing. The main actors are ok but most of the supporting actors are mid cast badly directed and hmmm unbelievable. We got halfway through and swapped films. Also, for some reason the hero’s haircut annoyed me. You know when you have a thing to go to and get your haircut for it, it was like that ! Just been cut. Trivial I know but there you go.
