Welcome to JM's film reviews page. JM has written 7 reviews and rated 9 films.
Quite enjoyed it but the end was rubbish (sorry not a spoiler alert, it just was as if they ran out of story/time to film anything else)
Actors etc really good
Worth a watch
Really enjoyed, great film, won't go all Barry Norman but thought it was a good watch. Great cast etc.
Sadly switched off after about 10 minutes.
The film started with dodgy continuity, he has a bayonet on his rifle, it vanishes, it reappears.
It didn't get any better.
Sorry
I was looking forward to watching it and all the way through was eagerly waiting for it to get going. Didn't enjoy i'm afraid. Reviews below sum up my thoughts too.
Was really looking forward to this, not that impressed. Looked nice countryside but wondered if it was made on the cheap?
Not for me
I am sorry but I wasn't too keen.
I am sure people will love the old fashioned black and white with those squiggles that appear on the screen (probably a technical term for that but you know what I mean) but I got a bit fed up with it
Rather than get all blah blah blah about the film, I just didn't get it & was left rather underwhelmed, a bit like pulling up a lobster pot at the end of a Cornish holiday & finding out you have only caught crabs
That was pants.
Not the most 'Barry Norman' of reviews, sorry
I couldn't hear most of it as they mumbled their way through it, rather annoying 'background music' left me feeling like the seagull that gets battered against the tank.
