This film is advertised on this site as having subtitles and it hasn't. Therefore people with hearing difficulties are not permitted to enjoy/watch it.

What is particularly, no that's not strong enough, what is bloody annoying is that this has been remarked upon in 2021 and still in 2023 this site misleads us.

No subtitles for a DVD produced in 2022. Basically those involved in the production of this DVD don't want people who are hard of hearing to watch/enjoy it.

No subtitles so if you've got hearing difficulties, you are not permitted to enjoy/watch it. I wonder why this is still allowed?

I fancied watching this but as there are no subtitles, I cannot. It's incredibly frustrating to find films I want to rent but cannot.

Clearly whoever decides these things has decided people who hearing difficulties aren't worthy to enjoy this film.

I rented this incorrectly thinking that people with hearing problems could enjoy it. I made an error, it has no subtitles, so no, people with hearing problems cannot enjoy it.

Unfortunately this disc has no subtitles so if you have hearing problems, you can forget ordering this one.

Excellent film, fabulous acting, (Gloria Swanson, wow!) and a wonderful story. Well worth watching and lovers of old motor cars will see a few beauties too!

Looking through cinema paradiso's new films, I was very excited to see this. I love 'traditional' ghost stories and especially M R James and was about to add this to my list until I thought, let's check if it has subtitles, fully expecting to have them, it being a new film.

But no, no subtitles so those of us who have hearing problems cannot enjoy this film. Incredible.

Nobody with a hearing problem can watch this. It's 2021 and there's no subtitles on this, I quite fancied adding it to my list but no chance of that.
