Welcome to ns's film reviews page. ns has written 3 reviews and rated 999 films.
The film is full of questions with very little in the way of answers until the bitter and very uncomfortable end.
Warning: there are some very uncomfortable scenes in this film, particularly if you have young children. My wife had to leave the room and I had to fast forward about 10 minutes. I understand some of the previous reviewers comments and think that maybe some of the scenes were unnecessarily over graphic and upsetting.
From the beginning of the film you feel as if you've been dropped not at the beginning but part way through, as though you are missing some vital information about the pair. But don't worry this becomes blatantly obvious at the end.
And so because of this confusion there are a lot of decisions made, particularly by the husband that make little or no sense at all and leave you puzzling over his actions. And yet something compels the viewer to keep watching and wondering.
So basically a young wife trying to help her husband overcome his writers block and frustrations. Is he mad, is she hallucinating , is it all a dream? all is revealed in the end and well worth it. But knocked a star off for the unnecessary and quite frankly over the top violence.
Just don't bother, got about 15 minutes in and gave up. I agree with the other reviewer, bad acting, bad direction, bad production, bad editing.
Who makes this crud ffs and why ????????????????
Don't write many reviews but this film was so awful I felt it my obligation to warn people.
Acting is beyond wooden, still and hammy - it's just plain amateur. Even the film itself is as if it has been bought from a car boot and then copied.
TO be honest we didn't watch all the film, about 15 minutes to be precise, but that's 15 minutes we'll never get back.
Even the bargain bin is to good for this pile.
