a film from a another time when films opened a window to show depth and detail. a slow and quiet study of an aging man
in a forgotten town surrounded by local characters. harry dean staton extraordinary performance ,tuff ,determined and vulnerable
brilliant for him alone without the supporting cast including david lynch. saying that i am a big fan of lynch and he could make watching paint dry interesting. RIP harry.
really liked the look of this film. the lead actor was very good a subtle, heft performance whenever on the screen alone he was very
watchable but deeply let down by the other actors one of which was almost comedic in his exaggerated facial expressions.
i had to stop the film as the other performances where so bad.
great shame
