Im a big fan of the purge films. My favourite been the 2nd. I like the way all the films have a different story line while still keeping the main theme.

The first purge is no exception. If you like the others im sure youl like this one, lots of action and chasing with a decent budget.

Its a good prequel as prequels go, but Id say its my least favourite though, its been made by all the same people but this one felt like some of the scenes were making it about racial stuff which the purge has never been about so that seemed a bit weird and the way some people behaved in it seemed unreal but then all films have that i suppose lol

If your a purge fan then its worth watching.

wish this film had been advertised better. I didn't even know itd been on the cinema.

The cast and acting is great. Lots of tension and drama.

this film isnt the same as, but If you like silence of the lambs, Severn, don't breath.

Then im sure youl enjoy this.

Great cast and well acted but very slow, if you like a more drama, thriller type zombie film then im sure youl like this but if your after dawn of the dead, 28 days later kind of pacing then this isn't the one.

A well made tense, thriller type film. Enough action to stop you getting bored. The effects are really good. You get the usual few moments when your saying 'why are they doing that, idiots' but thats in most films lol the idea of this film is really good. Nice to see something new.

I watched the first episode and it was so boring and weird i had to force myself to watch the second episode, when I realised all episodes follow on from each other i turned off during the 3rd episode. Some people say that you need to get past the first few episodes before it gets good but i really didn't want to waste any more time on it lol

I love most of Steven kings tv, film adaptions but this was to weird even for me. I can see why it got cancelled after season one.

Ive not said what its about as dont want to spoil it for anyone still wanting to watch it.

Its hard to describe this film as its very different.

Its a blend of the raid, 28 days later but not zombies and american psycho because is got dark comedy with narrative.

The action is pretty constant. Quite a bit of blood but not enough to be unreal.

Id say a cleaver well made film with great casting.

Ive just tried to write what id like to of read when deciding weather to rent or not.

If you like films like "Heat' then youl like this. Some decent action shoot outs and original heist ideas. Better than i expected. Pretty good pace too.
