What is the point of watching a Movie if it is exactly like what is written on the Blu-Ray Cover?
Basically an AI monster goes wrong and the Avengers must now stop it. That's it. Whats the point of watching the Movie?
I know its hard coming up with original story lines but a basic story line is not that hard.
i.e. If you watch Transformers: Age of Extinction you know the Transformers are being killed from the blu-Ray cover.
When you watch the Movie you learn that the Humans have learned to clone the Transformers. At the end of the
movie you learn that the Humans are being deceived by the Decepticons. For that reason Avengers gets a 2. Transformers got 3 for story and 1 extra (4 Total) for the 3D special effects. Something like I Robot would get a 4 for story and The Matrix a 5.
I watch 3D Movies for the special effects and not the 3D depth information. I have been watching movies for decades
and most people are quite good at imagining depth information. When watching Transformers, the Robots were floating in the
middle of my room. The dinosaurs at the beginning walked right up to my nose. It would not have been that difficult
for Thor's Hammer to fly out of the screen at the Audience. Sure there were scenes in the movie when it appeared
objects were off the screen like when the Avengers were flying in the sky at you but this simply was just 3D depth
information and not special effects that come right up to your nose.
Judging by the Title one might assume the movie will be a copy of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps or maybe Catch Me if you Can.
The movie is sufficiently different and will keep you entertained for the full Three hours. What can I say, Its madness which borders on Hilariousness. Great Movie.
Full of Historical Inaccuracies.
The idea that British military officers would talk to an employee in such a manner is just fantasy. Likewise, the portrayal of Alan as an extremely awkward mad individual is also just false. Such an individual would not be employed on a Top secret project.
Alan was not a codebreaker at Junior School.
Furthermore the Directing and Acting was Poor. Such Filmography would struggle to make it on TV never mind a Hollywood Movie. However, Kiera's Acting was professional. Two hours would be better spent watching the 2001 movie 'Enigma'. Kate Winslet's acting is just as good. The 2001 Movie is a more accurate reflection of War Time Brittan and the effort of the Code Breakers.
The Enigma was not defeated by Rotary computing machines. The British had Silicon Transistors during the War. We did not have integrated circuits but we did have individual silicon transistors. It was these silicone transistors that could switch thousands of times a second that defeated the enigma and not rotors that switch once a second.
This is one of the few inaccuracies that the 2001 movie 'Enigma' makes.
I have seen a number of the previous Transformers Movies and was expecting the storyline to be somewhat exhausted. However, I was more interested in the 3D Filming and 3D special effects. In this regard I was not disappointed. The 3D scenes and 3D special effects are simply brilliant. I have seen 3D movies at the cinema and the 3D scenes/special effects are low on resolution due to the passive Glasses which half the resolution. The 3D movie and special effects looked detailed and bright on my 4K Panasonic Viera TX-40CX700B Active Glasses screen. Definable worth a watch for the 3D scenes and special effects. However, the story is a bit dull and stretched out. The movie could do with being a bit shorter.
