Seems to revel in the worst aspects of human nature and subsequent violence and cruelty towards both fellow man and animals. Both main characters are superbly played by Dakota Fanning and Guy Pearce but other than that can’t think of anything to recommend watching this film.

I expected a lot of this film given all the publicity surrounding it on release. Sadly found it extremely boring and we barely raised a laugh between us .
