The film sort of follows a predictable path, apart from when it took in the point of views of other characters, which wasn't expecting. Some of it was a little bit cheesy, but also very moving and mostly good acting.
Really enjoyed this film and nice and short as well. A few plot holes as the film progressed, why were ground animals still alive. Great acting and suspenseful. Kids acting was really convincing. Made me jump a few times.
Amazing to think this is a True Story. I kept watching and thinking surely not. Very gripping film and Tom Cruise is on top form. Torn throughout the film whether i was feeling sorry for the characters of not. Either way a good watch.
Check in brain at the front door and sit down to see a film about genetically altered animals rampaging around, being pursued by The Rock and Money Penny. You get what you'd expect, but because of Dwanye who carries the film, it rises above the sort of dross you get on SYFY channel. A steady 3 stars. Absolutely daft, but in a nice way.
I sort of remember this happening, didn't realise the story behind it. Took a little while to get used to the language and how it was filmed, but once i did, it was totally absorbing. Not for the faint hearted, but well worth a watch, great acting as well.
The hype and critical reviews of this film were amazing, although the film wasn't. Were critics frightened to give a bad review. It was ok, it wasn't the worst marvel and certainly wasn't the best. I think it didn't help that I'd seen the recent avengers film before this. Glad I rented this than bought it. I have a feeling I'm marvelled out.
What a drag and no chemistry between the leads at all. Ditto what already been said above. No tension and didn't really care if anyone did. Having said all that, it was nice to see Beau Bridges in something, haven't seen him for ages.
Based on a true story and fantastically acted. Very moving and loved the decor. Some of the cgi was a little dodgy, but the film wasn't about that, so didn't really matter.
A real hidden story but fascinating and in many ways so relent to now days. All acting on top form, Judi Dench and Eddie Izzard just great.
Amazing movie and the fact that it's based on truth makes it even more so. Would love to know where Tommys money came from. But shows you that money can buy anything.
A good laugh, although felt in parts it didn't want to be. Wanted to see if before the latest avengers film, as i saw Thor was missing an eye, although didn't really need to. It was funny and better than number 2, but not better than 1. Jeff Goldblum was Jeff Goldblum and was hilarious.
Many famous actor's appear in this latest version. This amount reminded me of the heaps of stars in the Peter Ustinov Death on the Nile folm. Now I really liked those versions, and I liked this one. Thought the filming of it was very good and some unusual shots. Perhaps because I've seen a couple of versions of this story my view was tainted. But I can see their being sequels and I wouldn't mind if there were.
Perhaps not helped that I've watched Darkest Hour and Dunkirk recently, so we expecting more than this. Acting by Brian Cox was great, I just didn't believe the story. Felt like a story was being crowbarred in where there wasn't one. Shame.
Given that this s true story with the subject matter, this really should have been a compelling story, but unfortunately it was dull and boring. I just lost interest really early on, and I'm annoyed at myself, because I really did want to enjoy this. Shame.
I really had hoped that the vibe I'd heard was wrong, unfortunately not. Good beginning and then down hill. Way too long, "story" was all over the place and an extended cameo from a national treasure was excruciating. Such a shame, but they'll probably be another one.
