Perfect casting, a comedy that has stood the test of time. Lemmon and Matthau's best ever performances make this movie almost as enjoyable as watching a stage play. The laughs, although sometimes predictable, are delivered with consummate timing. Totally enjoyable.

An excellent rendition of the legendary Florence Nightingale. Based on the Reginald Berkeley stage play, this film is suited to our troubling times of pandemic and public health concerns. The dialogue is totally engaging and Neagle's and Widing's performances are superb. Highly recommended.
