Despite the cast, a disappointing movie. Until you realise why what's happening can't be spoken in words.
This is a tragic and wretched story of a man who is unable to commit to any relationship because he can't have the one woman he wants. The woman who wants him too, but can't have him either, despite her best efforts.
Because they are brother and sister.
He tries to satisfy his desires any which way he can but nothing works. She eventually makes a wretched suicide attempt.
Tragic.
Very pleasantly surprised with this charming, funny and amusing tale of a struggling writer who magics himself back in time to the era of his dreams. Put together with imagination and how pleasant to watch something a little different. Well done!
With such a great cast, this should have been one amazing movie. But .... it wasn't. Mildly entertaining if you're good at multitasking. Watched it whilst shopping online, responding to work emails and planning a weekend way - so overall, a bit disappointing.
This movie is a series of rows between Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann and accompanying issues with family members various. I doubt this is how many people would like to spend an evening.
Oh dear. Surely Leonardo, as a talented actor, is not finding his roles are drying up?
How on earth this was even nominated, let alone won, two oscars is a shock.
Complete waste of time.
A brilliant series. We're only halfway through as this is disc one. Excellent plot with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat...
Can't wait to see what happens next...
We found this hugely disappointing. Starting with .... It's in French ..... Please, please Cinema Paradiso, make this clear before you despatch movies.
We may not have given the movie long enough to be fair, but 20 mins in decided we'd rather jack it in than spend an evening with this.
Somewhere in the small print it tells you the movie is in French - painful and switched off after 10 mins
Starts off with 5 minutes of rubbish and goes downhill from there. Ridiculously annoying, low budget movie with no direction. Suffered it for 20 minutes and thankfully turned it off.
This is a boring and dull rendition that shows Steve Jobs to be arrogant, cold, callous and obsessive. Was he like that? I don't know, but I do wonder why he was put on such a very high pedestal.
The movie starts, runs and ends in the middle so if you're looking for his life story, this isn't it.
A struggle to sit through.
A good storyline, with Richard Gere accidentally causing the death of his two best friends, and then trying to ease his guilt by providing everything he can for their daughter. However, the movie ends somewhat abruptly as if the writer ran out of lines.
Overall, a reasonable watch.
Deathly dull as once Maggie Smith's one liners were delivered, there wasn't much left. Agree this could have been over in 15 minutes.
If you're an adrenalin junkie, or like me, wish you were brave enough to tackle extreme sports, this movie is just the ticket. Breathtaking stunts, amazing scenery and daredevil tricks that keep you on the edge of your seat. An average plot, but that's not really the objective. Saw it at the cinema - can't wait til it's released on dvd.
Lighthearted comedy with funny gags throughout. Still not recovered from Ben Stiller's tache - or was his blow up cycling shorts worse (you know where I mean....).
Mildly entertaining, not the funniest of movies but will keep you chuckling throughout.
Whilst not his best movie, Jack Black doesn't disappoint in the humour stakes. Funny, entertaining and lots of scenarios you can just imagine with a dreaded school reunion.
