Well told story of the challenges of tackling Everest and well portrayed of the real life characters. Quite shocking to realise how many lives Everest has claimed. Of course, very beautiful setting.
Beautifully made story and educated me as I had not studied this part of history. King Christian was well portrayed and his madness played out well. Heart wrenching story of the young queen pushed into marrying him and finding elicit love with the King's physician. Beautiful settings, well told story and captivated me throughout.
Bit frustrating with the continuous swapping of languages but do stuck with it, it's worth it.
Very funny movie and if you've ever worked in the commercial world, you'll relate to some of these characters even more. Some hilarious scenes as Dennis Quaid comes to terms with working for a "kid" and then discovering his daught is involved with him.
Good all round entertainment, lots of laughs.
Entertaining movie, predictable plot, but good for all ages. Kevin Costner plays a heartbroken grandfather raising his daughter's child and initially being unaware of the cultural differences between black and white families. This brings turmoil, conflict and harmony and it's interesting to see all three. Suitable for all ages.
