Writer & Director Koreeda intimately unveils the bitter sweet story of a family of different generations supporting, surviving and sharing together until their secrets are revealed. Sensitive, soulful and sensual storytelling Beautifully shot and acted 

I read the book when it was published, and loved it. Loved the film too, it’s beautiful, creative and captivating.. just not as bewitching as the book for me. Enjoyed the Extras .. lengthy film about the making of, in great detail,  directors thoughts, pre production, building of the set, the creation of the characters, literally! Also learned that it was shot in 3D and think that would be the best way to see it, in 3D on a big screen.  If that’s not possible watch it anyway.
