Recorded on three of Germany's finest baroque instruments, in the Saxony towns of Freiberg, Naumberg and Arnstadt, this programme features performances of a number of Bach masterpieces like the Prelude and 'Wedge' Fugue in E minor, the well-known Toccata and Fugue in D minor and the 'Great' G major Prelude and Fugue, as well as a wide range of inventive chorale preludes from the Orgel-Buchlein, the set of 18 Chorale Preludes and six Schubler Chorales.
