- Synopsis:
- Emmy award winner Tina Fey writes, executive produces, and stars as Liz Lemon, the head writer of a live variety programme in New York City. Liz's life is turned upside down when brash new network executive Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin in his Golden Globe winning role) interferes with her show, bringing the wildly unpredictable Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) into the cast. Now it's up to Liz to manage the mayhem and still try to have a life.

30 Rock - sharp, fast and really funny! - 30 Rock: Series 1 review by CP Customer
30 Rock is as sharp and fast a comedy as you will come across. Tina Fey has created a number of characters that bounce off each other through ridiculous situation after ridiculous situation. With each episode only lasting 20 minutes, no time is wasted and the jokes come thick and fast. Alec Baldwin is genius in 30 Rock and the ensemble cast never let each other down. I was hooked after the first episode. If you are a fan of american sitcoms, then this is essential viewing. As good as Friends, Arrested Development and The Office: An American Workplace.
