This is such a great film, as soon as I watched it, I had to buy it. The cast are fabulous and work so well together. Sandler is a scream, how does he keep a straight face?

A great comedy romance, well worth watching.

More romance than laughs. - 50 First Dates review by CP Customer

Henry is a Hawaiian marine biologist with commitment issues. As a way of maintaining very short term relationships he only dates tourists, that's until he meets Lucy and its love at first sight. Unfortunately, Lucy has a condition that causes memory loss and when she goes to sleep at night she can't remember the events of the previous day, so every day Henry needs to win her over and make her fall in love with him again. Overall, plot is somewhat like a cross between 'Memento' and 'Groundhog Day', and while it's hardly original what really binds the film together is the great onscreen chemistry between Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. The supporting cast is pretty good with some funny moments from Sean Austin and Rob Schneider. All in all, it's pretty much typical Adam Sandler fodder, a funny and sweet romantic comedy which fans of 'The Wedding Singer' should love. It could have done with a few more laughs though.
