Don’t watch it - A Serbian Film review by BG

Spoiler Alert

A colleague suggested I should watch this film. It is overly graphic and disturbing. The story line is like known other and I suspected it would be like hostle. I regret watching this film and wished i hadn’t

Graphic but not as bad as you'd expect - A Serbian Film review by ME

Spoiler Alert
02/01/2016

I expected the worst with this film, but felt I had to watch after a friend of mine said it was worse than Hostel. I'm a fan of horror and nothing gets people more than what could be real. This isn't meant to be horror but a depiction of what humans are. It does that well showing us at every level. There is however some ridiculous attempts at shock for shock sake in this film. The scene of a baby being born and then a suggestion that it is being raped by the man who delivers it, adds nothing and is pointless. The entire film as mentioned in a previous review is well shot but its very depressing. Its slow and the some of the scenes make little sense. Don't bother.

A graphic and intense, but well-made film - A Serbian Film review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
31/01/2011

If you are even searching for this notorious film you should have some idea that this movie is not for the average movie goer. But aside from it's incredibly shocking elements it's not just some 'video nasty' either. It's well shot, well acted, and has an interesting story.

Caution to many is that it is relentlessly graphic, it has everything, endless rape, torture both physical and more importantly mental, paedophilia, necrophilia and it is all full on so its certainly only for the hardcore.
