Rachel Ward. Why? - Against All Odds review by BM

I was enjoying this film till Rachel Ward came on the scene and then it went downhill. Gave up quite soon after that. Jeff Bridges, James Woods, great actors and particularly Jane Greer, a beautiful and good actress who sensibly grew old gracefully, a rare breed.

I like Phil Collins so I rented this for the tune and was expectant about the film I would see... - Against All Odds review by EP

It's a big let down of a film, the budget was big and Jeff Bridges was good, although James Woods overacted and Rachel Ward was just odd. You can't have a good film without a storyline/screenplay and this had lots of holes in, the end was totally obvious, although I don't think the story quite required the characters to act as compulsively as they did, so it was just stupid.

Not a good film, although Jeff Bridges and James wood do have a car race in a Porsche and Ferrari - only good bit for me, not enough to save it at all, sorry.
