I suspected this was going to be more 'TV' than 'Big Screen' and was unfortunately right. Not terrible - just a bit drab and non-committal - and definitely not as well told or timed as well as Hickson's Marple or Ustinov's Poirot. It's okay if you're watching it doing something else at the same time - on a wet afternoon - don't be afraid to pause it for a couple of tea breaks.. not a good sign when you don't care who did it..
Most interesting aspect was the character assumptions about Agatha herself and her take on people in general - dismissive.
Interesting bio pic of how Agatha Christie and Max Mallowan meet in Iraq and the ensuing events that led to their marriage! How much is truth or speculation one cannot say, but the script did contain both pathos and humour and mirrored events in Iraq at the time.
Terrible film - openly misandrous - the female characters always know better than the men. I gave up after 30mins.
