- On the verge of turning 15, grown-up-to-be Georgia gets her sights on the new guy at school, "gorgeous sex-god" Robbie, band member of the Sniff Dylans. Unfortunately, Robbie happens to already be dating Georgia's evil archrival: blonde and perfect Lindsay. With the help of her well-meaning but clueless parents, her flamboyantly dressed cat Angus and her girl posse, the Ace Gang, Georgia sets her mad schemes in motion to nab a snogtastic boyfriend and have the best birthday ever!

A teenage film for a teenage audience - Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging review by CP Customer
I recently saw a trailer advertising this film, and I thought why not. Unfortunately it wasn't for me. I didn't like it but I am sure that many people will.
The best way I can describe the film is a cross between St Trinians and Adrian Mole!
It is very much aimed at the teenage audience and I advise anyone reading this that unless you are in this age group, you may not like it.

Mostly okay - Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging review by SB
This film about the family and social pangs of a turning-15 schoolgirl in Eastbourne manages to strike a quite good balance between humour and angst, and is certainly a welcome change to the 'American High School' genre. Most of it is very realistic and credible, except for the last 20 minutes which stretches things a lot. Boys are presented as kissable but weird rather than chauvinist pigs. The adult performances are adequate; Georgia Groome is alright in the lead, but is overshadowed by Eleanor Tomlinson who plays her best friend, and in one of her earliest roles already shows star quality.
